ASBP Innovation Pitch Series - Walls and Build Systems

The Alliance for Sustainable Building Products (ASBP), in collaboration with the ASBP Plastics in Construction Group, has launched an exciting new innovation pitch series.

Aimed at innovators, start-ups and manufacturers launching new product ranges, the purpose of the innovation pitch series is to identify innovative alternatives to conventional plastic building materials and packaging. The products can be at any stage of the innovation cycle from early development to market ready.

Please join us on Thursday 17th December, 11:00-12:30 for another round of the ASBP Innovation Pitch Series, focused on innovative alternatives to conventional wall construction and build systems.

Meet our Judges

Stephanie Palmer is Sustainability Manager at Wienerberger. She has a broad range of experience in corporate sustainability management, including strategy development and execution, brand development, community engagement activities and liaison with MPs, MEPs and civil servants on energy and climate policy.

Asif Din is Sustainability Director at Perkins & Will. Asif leads on strategic initiatives for sustainable building across the firm’s practice areas, including urban design, architecture, hospitality, and workplace design.

With over 20 years of experience working on a number of PassivHaus and Zero Energy Developments both in the UK and Asia, Asif brings both a unique expertise and perspective to the leadership team.

Throughout his career, Asif has been dedicated to low-carbon building and development. From Exmouth Market in London to Jubilee Wharf in Cornwall, Asif’s involvement has taken a proactive approach to identifying and integrating energy-efficient building solutions into architectural design.

Drew Robins is Head of Specification at ARP Ltd. For the last 18 years Drew has been managing sales teams, where the majority of reportees have been remote working.  Drew’s current role is Head of Specification, Sustainability and Divisional Director for ARP Ltd, a leading UK manufacturer of bespoke metal products for use in the construction industry. 

He is also in charge of all export opportunities and sits on the Plastics in Construction Working Group with the Alliance for Sustainable Building Products, investigating ways of reducing the amount of plastics being used in construction.
