The Alliance for Sustainable Building Products (ASBP) is delighted to announce the longlist for the inaugural Reuse Champion Award, recognising individuals who have gone above and beyond to champion reuse and circular economy principles across the built environment. The award has been introduced to celebrate the vital role that people play in driving change, demonstrating that even the best technology and processes rely on passion, collaboration and leadership to deliver real-world impact.
This year’s longlisted nominees have been recognised for their outstanding efforts in promoting material reuse, helping to divert valuable resources from waste, influencing project teams and clients, and delivering environmental and social benefits through innovative approaches to circular construction.
The 2026 Reuse Champion Award longlist is:
- Alejandro Mar Morales, Cundall
- Cat Clarkson, GRAHAM Group
- Darcy Arnold-Jones, Marks Barfield Architects
- Kallie Bell, Material Reuse Group
- Kimberley Ertl, Expedition Engineering
- Louisa Treadwell, Elliott Wood
- Luke Clarke, Reclaimed Brick Company
- Dr.-Ing. Patrick Teuffel, CIRCULAR STRUCTURAL DESIGN
- Rebecca Marsh, RMF
Following the judging process, the shortlist will be announced in mid October, and shortlisted nominees will be invited to attend ASBP’s Building Resilience Through Reuse event, where delegates will vote for the overall winner. The award will then be presented by John F Hunt, sponsors of the Reuse Champion Award.
