Sustainable Bio & Waste Resources for Construction (SB&WRC)

For the past two years, ASBP has been co-leader for communications in the Sustainable Bio & Waste Resources for Construction (SB&WRC) project with a number of leading institutions from both sides of the Channel, including lead partner Nomadeis.

The aim of the project is to develop prototype construction materials from agricultural co-products (wheat straw and maize pith) and recycled waste (polyester duvets and oyster shells).

Theย SB&WRCย project is supported by theย INTERREG France (Channel) Englandย programme and receives financial support from theย European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), which will fund 69% of the project budget (โ‚ฌ1.26 million), which amounts to โ‚ฌ1.8 million overall.

The INTERREG France (Channel) England programme is a Cross Border European Territorial Cooperation (ETC) Programme, which aims at supporting the development of the France (Channel) England area, in line with the goals of the 2020 Europe strategy to create jobs and encourage smart, sustainable and inclusive growth.
