ASBP members, Barbara Jones (School of Natural Building) and Will Kirkman (Ecomerchant) join the panel for the ACAN Natural Materials Group event discussion offsite building systems.
Barbara Jones founder of the School of Natural Building, has decades of experience with straw bale building, clay and lime plastering, building physics and leading work on building sites across the UK and Europe. Barbara is now a technical consultant at EcoCocon, an innovative straw and timber wall system.
Ecomerchant is one of the We Build Eco partners, a brand that represents a group of like-minded businesses that share the aim of building better. We Build Eco produce energy-efficient building kits from any design with a fast and precise process. Other partners involved include ASBP Patron Member Steico, as well as Kithurst Homes and Build Collective.
This online event will look at three offsite systems using natural materials: EcoCocon, We Build Eco, and Agile Homes. They will present examples from across the UK and Europe, and participate in a lively Q&A session.
