Built in just 12 weeks this state-of-the-art marketing suite was built for Chobham Manor LLP, which comprises Taylor Wimpey and housing association L&Q, one of London’s largest residential developers. The development represents the beginning of the first of five neighbourhoods to be created in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, and at almost 1000m², the suite is one of the largest in the London residential property sector.
This unique and innovative building system has been developed by Suitebox and ES Global utilising standard construction materials and components adapted and developed to suit the requirement of reuse. This design approach allowed buildings to be designed with a design life from anything from 6 months up to 60 years.
Chobham Manor is the first marketing suite developed by Octink and ES Global to utilise a revolutionary on-ground foundation system of steel padfeet, which ultimately saves on the cost of complex foundations, and reduces the on-site build time drastically.
The marketing suite is constructed over three storeys and comprises an impressive reception, office space and an interactive area, while upstairs a 2 & 3 bedroom show apartment and an impressive roof terrace afford stunning views across the development, Queen Elizabeth Park, and Central London.
For most companies an ideal timeline for building a marketing suite such as this would usually be up to six months, but the techniques we use have enabled us to take the project from concept and design through to completion in only 16 weeks, on time and on budget”
