With a chemistry background and over 25 years in the industry, he combines technical expertise with ecological design principles. Starting in 1995 as a natural builder working with cob, lime, and wood fibre, he shifted to sourcing high-performance, breathable products for both heritage and modern projects. A passionate educator, Chris also developed Fibres Academy to improve understanding of natural insulation and building physics. He continues to champion durable, healthy, and low-carbon construction through consultancy and supply.
