Materials in Mind supports construction projects, builders and developers in refining and redefining business practice to meet changing industry standards. Circular economy thinking, including waste avoidance, is integral to our practice and we can help with guidance around local requirements and opportunities.
Services range from; design and modelling for construction and production, materials and supply chain auditing and project management.
MiM can design easily digestible communications, from guiding principles to toolbox talks, breaking down complex issues such as embodied carbon and demonstrating practical steps. We seek to increase basic operational and performance knowledge and improve general buildings and materials literacy.
What encouraged you to become a member of ASBP?
As an system-agnostic consultant I am always scanning the market for context appropriate solutions that also have clear and well-aligned guiding principles. Materials in Mind was attracted to the ASBP recognising that it was not only a rich source of information and education but also an unrivalled hub for manufacturers, suppliers, designers, engineers etc. who embrace and embody the Alliancesโ 6 Pillars.
With clients from traditional and conventional disciplines as well as modern methods of construction, I find the ASBP members base is representative of each approach and capable of supporting my work in implementing strategies for positive change.
