Ecotecture Ecological Design is an award-winning Chartered RIBA practice based in Sussex. Founded in the 1990s by Jo Saady, the practice’s name makes a clear statement about her belief that buildings can inspire and enable us to lead more sustainable lives. The practice continually strives to help clients make the best environmental choices.
Jo and her team have delivered a diverse range of residential and commercial projects, including traditional builds, new developments, and the creative reuse of existing structures. Their work creates an architecture of place that is energy-efficient, sensitive to context, and respectful of the local vernacular. Projects range from single residential dwellings and historic conversions of seminaries and listed buildings to masterplans of fifty homes and more, helping to bring the UK sustainable communities and a better future for the next generation.
