Simon Corbey will be discussing healthy products on Tuesday 10th, 10:45-11:45am in the Surface Materials Show. Catherine Joce will be updating us on the developments in the circular economy.
On Thursday 12th, 11-1pm in Timber Expo, join Simon, Ben Humphries from Architype and Alan Fogarty, Cundalls.
Architype have incorporated the principles defined in ‘Clever Classrooms’ by the University of Salford, along with their own research, to design schools that are most suited to pupils’ ability to learn. Ben will summarise the key points as well as comment on the role that timber has to play, Simon speaks to ‘health and wellbeing; the opportunities and challenges for the timber industry’.
Alan will provide an overview of the WELL Building Standard: how it works and how various criteria are measured – and will then comment on timber’s potential role in achieving the standard and the issues timber suppliers need to understand.
ASBP Patron member STEICO UK Ltd will showcase its European Technical Approval (ETA) awarded product SteicoFloc, a high-quality air injected cellulose insulation, manufactured from recycled paper on stand no. T420. ASBP members Ty-Mawr Lime Ltd (stand no. T528) and Lime Green Products Ltd (stand no. T420) will also be exhibiting throughout the show.
