SEDA event: Which Trees for Home – Trees, Landscape and Affordable Homes

Date: Friday 22nd March 2024   Time: 10:00 - 16:00   Location: SRUC Barony, Dumfries, DG1 3NE

A one-day event in Dumfries and Galloway, organised by SEDA  Land in collaboration with the James Hutton Institute and Scotland’s Rural College. “Which Trees For Homes?” will investigate the long-term effects of land-use decisions on climate  change and the timber chain, particularly in relation to affordable homes. This event will involve scientists,  landowners, foresters, distributors and housebuilders.

ASBP members Chris Morgan of John Gilbert Architects, Neil Sutherland of MAKAR, and Jonathan Hines of Architype will be joined by a host of other experts for talks and discussions.
