Launch of design guide on shading for housing

Join Good Homes Alliance, British Blind and Shutter Association (BBSA), Pollard Thomas Edwards and expert speakers for the launch of a new design guide on shading for housing.

The work has been led by an experienced team at award-winning architect Pollard Thomas Edwards, including sustainability lead Tom Dollard, author of ‘Designed to Perform’, and Passivhaus designer Joseba Perez. The wider project team includes renowned engineering firm Max Fordham; Rajat Gupta, Professor of Sustainable Architecture and Climate Change at Oxford Brookes University, and construction consultants, Martin Arnold.

The project has been commissioned by Good Homes Alliance and British Blind and Shutter Association, and is supported by Ballymore, Caribbean Blinds, Guthrie Douglas and Louvolite. The guidance is aimed at a range of stakeholders including architects, local authorities, housing associations, private developers, and policy makers.
