Calling all ASBP members! Please join us for our Spring 2024 Members’ Meeting on Tuesday 30th April, 12:30-14:00, online (Zoom).Â
We will reflect on the ASBP’s impacts and achievements over the past 12 months, give an update on ongoing activities and research projects, and plans for the coming years.
We are also delighted to be joined by Fergus Harradence, Deputy Director, Infrastructure, Construction & Rail at the Department for Business & Trade (DBT) who will give an update on the latest policy developments.
Fergus leads for the Department for Business & Trade on sponsorship of the infrastructure and construction and sectors. Since joining the Civil Service in 2000, he has worked in a number of Departments in a range of economic policy roles, including trade policy, export promotion, innovation and corporate tax. His current responsibilities include DBT’s policies to help improve the productivity and environmental performance of the construction sector, including through decarbonising buildings and construction operations, strengthening the rail supply chain in the UK, and managing the relationship with the construction sector through the Construction Leadership Council.
