107 Niddrie Road is a pre-1919 red sandstone tenement in Govanhill in the south side of Glasgow. Like most traditional Scottish tenements, it consists of eight flats and a communal close and back court. The project has been designed by John Gilbert Architects to meet EnerPHit standards and utilises a range of natural materials including wood fibre and sheep’s wool insulation to drastically reduce energy bills for the tenants while providing them with a healthy internal environment.
