Understanding public perceptions and experiences of low carbon materials

As part of an interdisciplinary research project conducted by the Universities of Sheffield, Leeds and York, they are running a construction sector stakeholder survey.

The survey will take 10-15 minutes to complete, and seeks to understand industry’s views of low carbon materials. It will be used to inform a series of deliberative workshops with the general public, as well as direct future research.

The survey can be found here.

The wider research project will investigate public understanding and perception of any direct benefits, co-benefits or drawbacks from using low carbon materials through a series of deliberative workshops. It will then identify how public policy and designers could use this evidence to overcome existing barriers to the use of low carbon materials and thus accelerate their uptake.
