ASBP in collaboration with PEFC UK, Woodknowledge Wales, Stora Enso, Eurban, TDUK and other partners, is conducting the IMPACTT research project – ‘Innovative Mapping and Processes to Advance Construction Timber Transparency’.
The aim of the project is to bridge the gap between construction and forestry, investigate how we might overlay biodiversity data and forest data onto the PEFC Certification system, and increase traceability and transparency in mass timber supply chains.
As part of the project we have developed a short survey (3 to 5 minutes) to gauge the construction sector stakeholders’ knowledge about sustainable forestry.
Please be assured that all the information you provide in the questionnaire will be strictly confidential. At no time will your identity or the name of your organisation be disclosed. The survey report will primarily focus on the aggregated responses, and any examples provided will be anonymised.
The survey can be accessed at the following link: https://forms.gle/A3J4axcR1cmzb1E68.
Built by Nature, a network and grant-making fund with a mission to accelerate the timber and biobased building transformation, has awarded grant funding to the IMPACTT project via its first Challenge initiative. The “From Forest to Frame” Challenge was launched in November of 2022 with the goal to increase the transparency around the climate impacts of decisions made along the bio-based construction value chain.
