The ASBP have contributed to a report by ODI (Overseas Development Institute) that outlines a suggested route to reducing plastics. Our Director, Simon Corbey, and Technical & Research Association, Katherine Adams, were involved with the section on phasing out plastics in construction.
This report gives an overview of the problems, a projection of where we will be if we continue with ‘business as usual’, and a possible scenario to reduce plastics in construction using a combination of alternative materials and a circular economy.
