We are delighted to announce that our Board Member, and LCA guru, Dr Jane Anderson (ConstructionLCA), has completed her PhD.
Jane’s thesis on ‘Reducing Embodied Carbon in the Built Environment: The Role of Environmental Product Declarations’ – is available to download here.
This research looks at how digital EPD data could be used to influence embodied carbon reductions and enable the construction industry to achieve net zero, and has already been cited in numerous articles or papers.
Whilst working on her PhD, Jane has continued with her work, actively participating in initiatives progressing the low-carbon agenda in construction, including the UK Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard.
Jane Anderson joined the ASBP Board in 2013, and is a valuable contributor to our work raising awareness of EPD, Embodied Carbon and the importance of Life Cycle Assessment.
