Copper association launched to spearhead green construction and plumbing

The Copper Sustainability Partnership (CuSP) is a nationwide association founded in response to the growing demand for sustainability and longevity within the construction and plumbing industry.

Working alongside the ASBP, CuSP is taking a stand against the inaccuracies of the plastics greenwash, to improve the quality of construction and plumbing materials used within built environments. CuSP supports the industry’s aim of making UK plumbing production exclusively sourced from recycled materials, further capitalising on copper’s infinite recyclability.

CuSP welcomes like-minded organisations and academia interested in championing environmental thinking, insight sharing and collaboration. If you are interested in further highlighting copper as a material for the future, we would love to hear from you.

CuSP has produced the following video discussing the infinite recycling journey of copper pipes.
