Paola Paruta is a plastic data expert. She holds a PhD in Mathematics and has been involved in multiple projects related to plastic flow modelling both in the environment (physical flows) and in the economy (trade flows). She contributed to the development of the IUCN National Guidance for Plastic Pollution Hotspotting and Shaping Action, and its piloting in 5 countries. Paola is also leading the data development for PLASTEAX.
