The value of a regional approach to circular economy across different sectors and the opportunity that provides.
To mark Circular Economy Week 2026, Reusefully and partners are hosting a one hour online session with the latest updates from ReYorkshire. This eighteen month programme of work is funded by the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority to identify and pilot opportunities across a range of multiple sectors in the region including construction, agriculture & aquaculture, manufacturing, community & food, and the commercial and industrial sectors. It is designed to promote circular economy, reuse and materials sharing across the region, whilst supporting the vibrant community sector based in the region.
You will hear more about the extensive data and stakeholder mapping being conducted to identify symbiosis opportunities, development of a physical construction reuse hub, and other pilots including the use of spent coffee grounds in personal care product manufacture.
The event aims to show the value of a regional approach to circular economy, and the opportunity that provides, with the latest insights and potential to extend to other UK regions. After all, circular economy can support growth in every postcode!
