Join this ASBP Members’ Hour to discuss the UK Government’s Construction Products Reform White Paper and the consultation that is now open for industry feedback. The White Paper sets out a major programme of reforms to the construction products regulatory regime following the findings of the Grenfell Tower Inquiry, with proposals aimed at improving product safety, transparency, testing, certification, and accountability across the supply chain. The consultation runs until 20 May 2026, giving organisations an opportunity to help shape how these reforms are implemented.
This session will provide a short overview of the proposals and create space for discussion among ASBP members about the potential implications for the sector and how the industry might respond to the consultation.
The discussion will be particularly relevant for construction product manufacturers, designers, specifiers, contractors, sustainability professionals, and others involved in selecting, supplying, assessing, or regulating construction products, as well as anyone interested in contributing to the consultation response.
