ASBP Material Mornings – Lime Building Products

Date: Thursday 7th May 2026   Time: 11:00-12:00   Location: Online (Zoom)

Summary

Join the Alliance for Sustainable Building Products (ASBP) for a Material Mornings online event on Lime Building Products. The short 1-hour sessions give members and the wider sector the opportunity to bring technical questions, gain practical insights, discuss common challenges, and share good news stories for bio-based, circular and healthy building materials.

The Material Mornings sessions are supported by experts from ASBP’s specialist groups and campaigns, including on Natural Fibre Insulation, Paints and Finishes, Lime Building Products, Reuse Now, and Reducing Plastics, ensuring that advice and discussion is grounded in up-to-date technical knowledge and real-world experience.

Rather than formal presentations, each session functions as a surgery-style discussion, shaped by the issues participants are currently facing in real-life projects and product specification. The sessions are designed to complement ASBP’s existing webinar and conference programme, offering a more relaxed space to explore ideas, ask questions and learn from others working across the sector.

What to expect

  • Attendees are encouraged to bring live queries and project challenges for open discussion with peers and experts (Please note – this is peer support and shared learning, not formal technical advice).
  • A brief welcome and outline of the focus area from the ASBP team.
  • An open, surgery-style discussion responding to attendee questions.
  • A relaxed and supportive environment for learning and problem-solving.

Who should attend

  • Sessions are free-to-attend for ASBP members with a small fee for non-members.
  • All stakeholders are welcome, including architects and designers; local authorities and housing associations; contractors and installers; manufacturers and suppliers; consultants, researchers and policymakers.
