Buildings can be conceived and delivered in new ways that enhance the mental and physical health of occupants. The ASBP’s Healthy Buildings Conference and Expo once again brought together leaders in the construction and healthcare industries to explore exciting opportunities for a healthier, low carbon built environment. We were particularly delighted that Professor Stephen Holgate CBE, Clinical Professor of Immunopharmacology at the University of Southampton and co-author of The Royal College of Physician's 'Every breath we take' report, was our keynote speaker.

There were also speakers from Architype, Glasgow School of Art, HAB Housing, Natural Capital Coalition, British Land, Cullinan Studio, International WELL Building Institute, UK Centre for Moisture in Buildings and many more! Take a look at the conference programme to see the full list of speakers and to download presentations.

Plus, the Expo featured a number of exhibitors including natural fibre insulation product manufacturers and suppliers, air quality monitoring experts and eco-financing companies.

Ben Humphries - Director, Architype

“I thought the whole conference was excellent – one of the best I’ve been to in years actually. Interesting, stimulating talks and really good networking. I definitely agree that it should become an annual fixture – it really is the next big topic.”
