How to Love Old Buildings: A Derelict Stable Block to CarbonLite Home.
An honest case study on the challenges of preserving old buildings. Retrofitting with a whole lifecycle carbon approach. The talk will cover process and planning including insulation and air tightness strategy and challenges that were faced throughout. The embodied carbon and how it was built to be low energy, low waste and with natural materials prioritised, this comes from a strong held belief in sustainability within construction.
