ASBP’s Richard Broad travelled to Germany at the end of June for the natureplus conference. The theme for RE.THINK BUILDING 2023 was the use of circular and regional building materials for resilient and transparent supply chains. We have a long association with the natureplus organisation, and have a shared commitment to create a healthy, low-carbon built environment. natureplus e.V. is a European not-for-profit environmental and consumer organisation. Its core activity is providing impartial, scientific, product assessments that recognise healthy, sustainable building products. The natureplus certification process encourages ongoing progress to improve materials in construction that is beneficial for both manufacturers and specifiers. The freely available, natureplus product database contains detailed information on more than 600 building products that have been awarded the natureplus eco-label following a rigorous assessment process.
ASBP is the natureplus representative in the UK. We regularly collaborate on events that champion the understanding and use of demonstrably sustainable building products.
