Originally trained in Material Exploration and Surface Design at Chelsea College of Art and Design, UAL, Emily has over 13 years’ experience in a broad range of material development for the sustainable interiors market.
She has managed innovative and critical materials research and production projects internationally, from the V&A to Boras University, Sweden, and is a technical Smart Textiles and materials research analyst for the circular economy, promoting emotional durability. Her diverse creative industries’ experience encompasses surface design, theoretical art and design lecture, and curation.
In her current role as Customer Experience Manager and Project Manager at Smile Plastics – a trailblazer in the world of sustainable material design – Emily applies her wealth of sector knowledge to creating the best client journey possible.
