Clare has recently joined the Crown Estate as Development Director looking after development in the St James district on TCE’s central London portfolio.
Prior to this Clare worked in development for Grosvenor, leading the delivery of significant masterplan schemes. These included the Bermondsey Project, an urban regeneration scheme of 1,500 low carbon, built-to-rent homes; and the Barton Park, Oxford development, a 900 home mixed-use masterplan designed with health and wellbeing at it’s core.
During this time Clare grew a keen interest in developing for a sustainable future, and in particular, in low carbon building materials. As such she has explored in some detail, hybrid steel and CLT high-rise structural solutions.
Clare’s training and early career was in Architecture, and she also worked at Mace as a project management consultant on a variety of projects in all sectors in the national and international arena.
