2024 Reuse Summit Presentations
We cannot achieve Net Zero targets without using circular economy strategies and solutions to reduce embodied carbon. The Alliance for Sustainable Building Products (ASBP) is leading a targeted effort to champion a circular economy through its Reuse Now campaign. This initiative promotes the reuse of construction materials and aims to enable uptake of reuse through collaboration and the creation of practical resources.
At our annual ASBP Reuse Summit, attendees heard from leading experts in the materials reuse field. The event featured panel discussions and presentations, offering in-depth exploration of key topics such as material passports, pre-demolition audits, the infrastructure required for logistics, processing and storage, and the importance of demolition and strip-out expertise in making reclamation and reuse possible. This in-person event provided a valuable opportunity for learning, knowledge sharing, and networking, with the goal of driving greater adoption of reuse practices within the construction industry.

Poll results
During the event we asked two questions via Slido Poll. The results are below.
Have you ever reused materials/products in a project?
If yes – which material/s or product/s did you reuse?
