The Bay Trust is an environmental education charity based in St. Margaret’s Bay, Kent. The Trust owns and operates The Pines Calyx, one of 21st century Europe’s first venues to be built using “cradle to cradle” design; its construction and fittings make use of locally-quarried rammed chalk, recycled fishing nets and a repurposed brewery floor. This venue sits within The Pines Garden, the management of which utilises a series of regenerative principles.
