SPL runs Carbon Literacy courses for professionals in the domestic retrofit sector. With over 25 years in sustainable construction, Vicki brings her construction, sustainability, BREEAM and training experience to support participants in reducing greenhouse gas emissions within their sphere of influence, be that housing, workplace or community.
Whilst partly technical, this course primarily focuses on building the confidence, decision making and communication skills needed to embed choices in retrofit that contribute to healthier homes, lower emissions, more resilient communities and a more sustainable built environment. It’s not just a certificate but changes how we think and operate in this sector.
