Retrofit Action For Tomorrow (RAFT) is a not-for-profit community interest company committed to providing education and professional retrofit advice to schools, homes and local organisations to create healthy, zero-carbon and climate resilient communities. RAFT architects have over a decade of experience of deep retrofit in the residential sector; over the last 3 years since launch, RAFT has successfully applied this experience to school retrofit projects with a range of typologies and construction periods. RAFT is different to other architect practices – engaging children, teachers and communities in the research, design and execution processes of retrofit projects is fundamental to our purpose.
