Introduction to the ZAP Project – “Zero Avoidable Packaging waste in construction”

Date: Thursday 28th April 2022   Time: 11:00-12:30   Location: Online (Zoom)

Discover more about the prevalence of avoidable packaging waste in construction, much of which is not recycled, and our research and development of scalable solutions to combat this issue.

The ZAP Project – “Zero Avoidable Packaging waste in construction”, will link with real-world construction projects to develop case studies and offer training and guidance that will demonstrate the positive actions the whole supply chain and sector can do, helping organisations work towards zero avoidable waste.

ASBP will be joined by project partners Cullinan StudioBankside Open Spaces TrustMace and Morgan Sindall for this introductory webinar. Each partner will speak on their part in the project and the importance of being involved in vital research and development to drive change.

ZAP is one of three projects that has been awarded funding during the second round of the Ecosurety Exploration Fund. The fund, launched in 2019, invests in projects that aim to reduce the environmental impacts of packaging, batteries or EEE through innovation or research in the UK.
