Dr. Jacobo Elies, Associate Professor at the University of Bradford, will explore the cellular mechanisms linking indoor air pollutants to cardiac dysfunction. Using cutting-edge electrophysiological and proteomic approaches, this seminar reveals how common domestic pollutants like carbon monoxide alter cardiac ion channel function and disrupt normal heart rhythm.
