SEDA Conference 2024: Resilience & Adaptation

Date: Friday 27th and Saturday 28th September 2024   Time:    Location: online and in-person

The Scottish Ecological Design Association 2024 Conference will take place online and in-person and at Aberdeen Town House, on 27th & 28th September 2024. The event will tackle adaptation and resilience from two perspectives: nature-based solutions and community-based solutions. Over the two days of the Conference we will engage in discussions, reflections and walks.

Day 1
Sandy Halliday – Gaia Group: Implementing A+ thinkers’ ideas
Martin Brown – Fairsnape: Kinship with nature

Day 2
Sue Roaf – Heriot-Watt University: Buildings First: From Efficiency to Sufficiency
Susan Krumdieck – Heriot-Watt University: Transition Engineering at Local Scale

On the evening of Thursday 26th, there will be an opportunity to see the full film from the Big Conversation. You can book the tickets separately from the Conference.
