Join RIBA for a practical webinar exploring early learnings from the Pilot Version of the UK Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard (UKNZCBS), hosted by Jess Hrivnak, Sustainability Lead (RIBA).
Developed through an unprecedented cross-industry collaboration between RIBA, CIBSE, IStructE, LETI, BBP, RICS, BRE, The Carbon Trust and UKGBC, the UKNZCBS sets out a clear, science-led framework for defining and demonstrating net zero carbon alignment in the UK built environment.
This session will explain the Pilot Testing Programme, spotlighting learnings and findings from participating projects. We will bring you case study examples of applying the mandatory requirements of The Standard across a range of building types and contexts.
Through these diverse examples, we will share practical insights into applying The Standard, tackling data and performance challenges, and design decisions that impact compliance.
