The natureplus Late Lunch 2025 sessions focus on renovation materials for the holistic, sustainable renovation and repurposing of existing buildings. They will also be addressing other topics, such as the use of low-tech in the refurbishment of existing buildings, economic and legal aspects of conversion projects and funding opportunities.
This webinar explores how new material innovations are making their way from research labs into real buildings. Three speakers will present pioneering approaches to sustainable remodeling: from lignin foam as a potential insulation material, to acoustic panels made from mycelium, to the use of agricultural and mineral residues for applications such as floor screed or interior design. Together, they illustrate how material circularity and smart resource use can open new pathways for healthy, climate-friendly, and future-oriented construction.
