Future-proofing timber in construction: Webinar #2 – Circular wood use in construction

Date: Thursday, 20th November 2025   Time: 9:00–10:30   Location: Online

ASBP is delighted to join forces with Woodknowledge Wales and Built by Nature to deliver a series of events exploring how circular practices can transform the timber sector – from manufacturing and construction through to finance and policy.

On 20th November 2025 we explore how we can retain more value in surplus and “end-of-first-life” timber. This webinar will look at how design can better support the reuse of timber; how innovation can encourage better use of existing timber; what we can learn from the past and skills gone by that we are losing; and what data/ proof/ case studies and incentives could drive more reuse of timber?

Who should attend?
Developers, contractors, architects, engineers and others interested in circular uses of timber and the benefits that brings including reductions in embodied carbon.

Join our #ReUseNow Campaign lead, Debbie Ward, to share your own experience with circular practices in building design and construction as well as hearing from our expert panel: Daniel Bianchi from Cullinan Studio, Benjamin Gardner from Heyne Tillett Steel, Richard Oxley from #OxleyConservation and Colin Rose from UK CLT
