Cornish Lime provides in-person training at their premises in Bodmin. Their courses give both professionals and DIY enthusiasts the opportunity to expand their knowledge, learn practical techniques, and build confidence in tackling projects.
Introduction to Lime Course – 9:00-16:30
Learn the essential information required to get started with lime-based products, including the theory behind lime and how it works, plus suitable applications and benefits for solid wall construction.

Lime Rendering & Plastering Course – 9:00-16:30
A one-day course where you will gain a practical introduction to rendering and plastering with lime, including which materials to use, application and finishing methods and aftercare with Master Plasterer Sean Wheatley and Cornish Lime’s Phil Brown.
Dates: 14th August 2026, 28th August 2026, 11th September 2026, 9th October 2026.
Lime Pointing Course – 9:00-12:30
Develop a solid understanding of pointing with lime under the guidance of Phil Brown, including which materials to use, application and finishing methods and aftercare.
Dates: 22nd August 2026, 12th September 2026.
