The next in-person BioLadies (&Lads) event has been curated by Iris Aquilina Anderson and includes at talk by ASBP Board Member, Alex Sparrow (Managing Director of UK Hempcrete), who will give an overview of natural construction materials.

James Neward talking about the experience of YorSpace, a not for profit, community led housing developer, delivering York’s first housing co-operative at Lowfield Green. James will outline the challenges in attempting to deliver an affordable, bio-based construction for the first 14 homes of the project whilst looking ahead to phase 2, which will deliver 6 apartments built with hempcrete along with a community owned, neighbourhood solar scheme
