AECB Webinar: Collaborating to Develop Retrofit One-Stop Shops

Date: Wednesday 13th November 2024   Time: 12:00 - 13:00   Location: Online

An AECB webinar featuring ASBP Award winners, People Powered Retrofit.

Whilst the UK’s ambition is to ramp up the number of retrofits completed each year, clients are often bewildered by the scale, complexity and timescales involved in projects. So called ‘one-stop shops’ provide an integrated service that helps their customers across multiple stages of their retrofit journey, from advice to finance to evaluation. In this webinar, you will see insights from two collaborative projects that are developing integrated home retrofit services.

RESCoop.eu’s OSRCoop project brings together energy communities from across Europe for peer learning and the development of new deep retrofit services. This event will present the one-stop shop models that have been explored and key insights from partners in Ireland, France, and Belgium. AECB will also share their learning from a collaboration between one-stop shops, credit unions and home improvement agencies to develop a finance offer for retrofit, as part of an ongoing Green Home Finance Accelerator pilot.

Speakers:

Jonathan Atkinson is a co-founder of People Powered Retrofit and having developed the organisation’s business plan he now works as Business Director. Balancing this role alongside another as Carbon Co-op’s Retrofit Team Lead, he has a track record of working within co-operatives and developing new, innovative models to support retrofit delivery.

Sandy Rushton works across People Powered Retrofit’s householder and training services, supporting technical teams with user research and human-centred design to inform the development of innovative training, finance, and advice services. She is a keen workshop facilitator and collaborative design approaches in the retrofit sector.
