The 2023 AECB Conference takes place at the end of September, hosted by ASBP member, the School of Natural Building (SNaB), at Tod College in West Yorkshire. The venue will allow delegates to explore hands-on approaches to building with natural materials. The School raises awareness about the benefits of using natural materials in the built environment and offers educational and training services for anyone interested in natural building.
As with all AECB events, knowledge transfer will be at the forefront of this 2-day event and will include thought-provoking talks, workshops and case studies from a great line-up of speakers. Barbara Jones (SNaB) is running one of the informative workshops, entitled Building with Straw – both pre-fab straw panels, as well as the traditional small bale approach.
