Since 2003, Element Four has provided leading-edge sustainability advice and support to a diverse range of clients to reduce their impacts and embrace practices that protect the environment and support communities. We pioneered an approach we call ‘disruptive sustainability’, cutting through the jargon and greenwash, engaging hearts and minds, making sustainability relevant and inspiring, empowering and equipping all members of the team to deliver exceptional results. A growing part of our work is creating zero carbon strategies for clients to fight the climate emergency.

What encouraged you to become a member of ASBP?

The UK construction industry produces over 50,000 tonnes of plastic packaging waste annually. However, the recycling / recovering rate of plastic is very low, much of the plastic waste end up in landfills and incinerations that escalates the whole life carbon emission. We believe the construction industry is lagging on the plastic issue which is of great importance to public concern. We would like to actively contribute to ASBP’s steering groups such as the Reducing Plastics in Construction Group; working to proactively implement solutions.
