About the Awards

ASBP Awards

The ASBP Awards is an exciting new awards programme which recognise construction projects which exemplify excellence in sustainability through their products, design and delivery.

The awards are open to projects from across the UK built environment sector that were completed and handed over by June 2018. Submissions will be assessed against the ASBP’s “Six Pillars of Sustainable Construction”: Health and well-being, resource efficiency, whole-life carbon, ethics and transparency, technical performance and social value.

Through these awards we aim to encourage a comprehensive approach to sustainability. The built environment sector is a major contributor to UK carbon, water and waste impacts, amongst other things. However, it also has enormous potential to impact how we live, work and play sustainably now and in the future. We want to encourage projects that make a positive contribution.”

The awards are now closed for entries for this year and the six project shortlist has been announced. The winner and commended projects will be announced at a ceremony at the ASBP’s third Healthy Buildings Conference and Expo which takes place on February 28th 2019 at London South Bank University.

The 2019 Healthy Buildings Conference and Expo will be the largest yet with over 200 delegates expected to attend and up to 20 exhibitors including leading product manufacturers, research organisations and designers.

The conference is a paid ticketed event and tickets are now available. Applicants which are shortlisted for an ASBP Award will receive one complimentary ticket to the conference.
